Throughout my four iterations I have developed ideas that have helped me produce my final rendered idea and work. My four iterations depict methods and styles in installing my work and designing it. I have used 2 element words, scale and orientation and 2 verbs, to spread and to continue.

SCALE + TO SPREAD
This digital illustration was to depict my past idea based on the manifestation of nightmares and dreams depicted through fragments in a noir sense of style evoking the audiences experience it in a provocative way. This dream refers to talking to dead people told by an anonymous person. I designed this fragment by having the dead people illustrated in black to evoke an anonymous presence.

This design was another idea on the theme around nightmares and dreams. This illustration illustrates a man falling from the sky, as this relies on the concept of falling in ones common dream. Personally I have experienced this multiple times, thus I decided to illustrate this first in photoshop with a figure falling with surrounding clouds to give it a dreamy vibe, though I ended up not proceeding any further with this idea.

ORIENTATION + TO CONTINUE
This illustration portrays my final rendered idea based the temptations and taboos around women in a continuation of illustrations. I have started off by illustrating my main character as a woman smoking a cigarette. Which outlines one of the taboos, some still in modern society as its considered bad and unpleasant for a woman to smoke. I deigned this clean line illustration through the program photoshop with a single brush tool.

I went to a printing shop to print out a variety of paper stock in A5 dimensions. I printed out 130gsm- 250gsm and in transparency and matt quality. I contained to use my first initial design on the smoking woman to test out on which paper stock to use in my final as an example. My final illustrations exhibits digital and drawn illustrations which advised my to think and decide which paper stocks I would use in my final.

ORIENTATION + TO SPREAD
For my final iteration I have drafted on how I wish my final design installation would be displayed at the exhibition. I structured my installation as a hanging mobile. As shown my mobile would be improved if I used materials like wood and screwed in hooks to hang my illustrations and the ceiling. I also wanted to display a large scaled centre piece drawing in the centre of my mobile depicting her (my character) in a still position. Thus, I eventually ended up not proceeding to that intention, as I had a more stronger recommendation in installing it.
